MTL was awarded along with Gdansk Univ. of Technology, TU Berlin and KTH Stockholm a 3-year project starting 1 November 2022 funded by Horizon Europe: ‘New approach to innovative technologies in manufacturing’ (NEPTUN). It involves training, research and technology transfer activities on additive manufacturing, AI in optimization of manufacturing processes, VR assisted manufacturing, digitally integrated production and cloud based manufacturing esp. condition monitoring. MTL share of the budget is 180 K€.
