The project will contribute to reducing the shortage of cybersecurity experts on Information Technology, Industrial Internet of Things, Industrial Control Systems and Operational Technology (IT/IIoT/ICS/OT) who are needed by the companies, by the training provided within the project’s scope. The training will be created by using the European Cybersecurity Skills Framework.

With the integration of digitalization and OT/IT technologies, pioneers of Industry 4.0, into production systems, cybersecurity vulnerabilities and misconfigurations emerge, and the number of cyber-attacks increases. In this scope, the project will contribute to solving the critical global problem of firms caused by the lack of cybersecurity experts. By offering training programs such as Fundamentals of Computing and Operational Technologies, Network Security and Cryptography, Risk Management and Cybersecurity, Penetration Testing for Operational Technology, Malware Analysis and Incident Response, Secure Coding and Software Security for OT, the project will directly contribute to closing the human resources gap in the field of cybersecurity and meeting increasing market needs and legal obligations. Furthermore, the training is structured to accommodate individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those with technical expertise and those without, as well as high-level senior management.
